Life in Nebraska ....

This is what we see out our window today... The wheel/ plow garden is about 60 feet from our front window....and the red shed about 100 ft.... beyond that we should be able to see fence posts, a field, and then the tree line and bridge down the road and beyond..... Normally we'd be able to see things much more like this.....

The pictures turned out horrible.... I sent all I had worth using to Jenny....so if you want any to see more Arla, you'll have to ask Jenny.

Well, Arla did an excellent job of putting my question away! Thanks Arla....I agree w/ you! I just thought it would be interesting to hear what people had to say! I personally would get weary of having to be intense ALL the time. But my post wasn't going to be about that! I was going to post a few things I've been glad about. 1, I'm glad for boys that LOVE the outdoors. Right now we're getting a wet snow and they are out trying to make a snowman. This winter would be nearly unbearable if the boys wouldn't have such good spirits about it! 2, The other Sunday at church I was reminded that God does answer prayers with a yes!. For so long it seemed to be all no. But I thought of two answered prayers in yes form. 3, I'm glad that we've had this year with Zerrick in first grade at home. We see character developing in him that is encouaging and we've had a chance to work on certain issues....Parenting is challanging but those good moments really make...

What qualifies for quality conversation? How does ones character affect this? Do we really need intense conversaton ALL the time? Is quality conversation the same as intense conversation? We had guests here for Sunday dinner....you all know who you were. Now I'm thinking of the conversations I heard floating all around me. I spent most of my time helping the kids and guests w/ the food and making sure everyone was comfortable. But I was listening in relation to this quote!!!! So for those of you who were here....how did we do? I like good conversation. Don't we all? But how does one go about holding a quality conversation? What thing...
