Mathias Jaymes

I found some baby clothes of Matt's from when he was a baby. They fit well but he just doesn't look like Matt did in those clothes! Mathias is almost 5 months old already and growing and happy and chuckly.

There is this one guy in my life who got these for me!  I'm SO very thankful for my man...   I've been reading this book lately.    It's got all the answers to homekeeping that I've needed for ever so long.    Now maybe next time you come as an overnight guest you won't feel so unkept....for I shall have it all put together and we will be living quite an orderly lovely functioning life!   Har Har!  But it is a good book and I went and ordered two of them.  One for me and one for the next lucky person to have a bridal/house shower.       I dream of a house where everything has a place and everything is in it's place.  I dream of having the basics for groceries always on hand because I was such an efficient shopper the week before.  I dream of cooking a nice basic meal every day ...foods that are normal foods...a balanced diet from all the food groups. Our boys

Keagan was just going to have a little rest. But sleep overtook him. We think he's rather special. Love him like crazy. His communication skills are pretty good... He's our blue eyed one. And he's loved by the brown eyed ones.

It's Hot!

Last night I was bathing my two youngest.  I had Mathias sitting in the bumbo and then when I got him out, I left the bumbo and Keagan in the tub while I worked on getting M wrapped up and warm in a towel.  I was just walking out of the bathroom when I heard a sharp intake of breath and a fast scramble/ splash.  Right away I knew what happened.  But I still went and looked back around the corner to see.  Poor Keagan was at the opposite end of the tub from where the bumbo was and he was holding his back side and nodding his head and saying "ya, that's hot isn't it." He had put Hot water in the bumbo and then delightfully squeezed himself down into it.....and then the big gasp and the splash of getting out FAST.  I laughed till my tummy hurt.  He didn't think it was so funny as I did.  But I'm pretty sure he'll think before he sits in the bumbo with hot water in it again!  :)  Maybe I'm a cruel mom to laugh....:)
