Bread

Today Breanna  and Amanda with their kiddios came to spend the day making bread.  What a fun therapeutic day for me!  It was just the thing to kick off week 38.   Breanna brought her favorite white bread recipe and  they both brought their ingredients and my contribution was my mixsaurus.  And they left with a car packed full of bread for friends and freezer.   Amanda left us a loaf.  It really was rather amazing!  I ate a little tiny bit.....gestational diabetes never mind!  Anyhow, here's a bunch of pics to prove they worked hard and made lots of bread and have precious kids.  Really like this one.....they look like they're dancing..... I wonder what she found to eat?  Lots of precious baby going on today......

Boys' Pictures

Mathias Jaymes 3 years old. This evening right before we left for an evening out I made the boys go outside with me for some quick pictures.  The two youngest were happy to oblige and show off for me......  the eldest, not so much.  Either way I love them and I was happy for these shots.   Keagan Michael 5 years old......and almost 6 Zerrick Matthew   10 years old. All my boys.....God has been good to us!

Today's Fun......

We're at week 37 here.  Life goes along nicely.  School is going good.  Today's weather was spectacular.   Today we had Home School Group here.  We had beautiful weather to play in.  The activity today for the school age kids was a Nature Scavenger Hunt.  But for the littles they just played.   These two are about a year apart but we still get them mixed up. I think they'll be big buddies some day.   She had fun going between the hunt and riding flat tired bikes.  Back at the back of the yard looking for things...... They were to find some fungus or moss of some sort..... Isn't it neat?  It was huge!  Some of them inspecting  the loot. a clover leaf.... He had a four leaf one earlier but Mathias grabbed it and ate it!  a live bug One teams loot Another teams loot.  These two were camping they said.... And our list.  Both teams d...

36 Weeks and our few mile markers

Today we're doing pumpkins.  I have a whole oven load roasted all soft, squooshy, stinky, and  cooling so I can scrape the skins and blend them.  We should be having pumpkin foods for the next ten years.  But the kids are all excited about pumpkin pies whenever they can get them.  Our ten year old Zerrick finally said his multiplication facts to 12 and earned his new bike.  It's been in the works for two years.  I am almost as pleased as he to have this accomplished.  Don't be fooled though.  If you ask him, he'll know it. If you tell him to  do a timed drill, forget it!  So we're still perfecting this.  Along with this grand gift, Keagan found his dream bike while Zerrick and Matt were shopping for Zerrick's.  Keagn was in need of the next size anyhow, and now we're almost equipped for family bike rides.  I'm lookng forward to that! Of course getting Mathias' birthday celebrated was a mile marker....

Happy 3rd Birthday Mathias
