Late Summer

I just have to take record of my late summer treasures.   August and September are just full of good gifts in Nebraska.

School Begins

His art project for the day.  We had a bit of differences in how it should be done but in the end he was happy.  The paper has a slit in it that goes to a pocket full of fish.   My Keagan. Second grade.  My little happy sunshine spot in the class room,  God has again provided spots of sunshine in my garden this year.  I'm loving my little row of zinnia's and stray sunflowers growing up everywhere.   Keeping busy playing a Lego game while his favorite people are doing school.  First morning! Ready to hit the books!   My seventh grader.  The things he's learning!  very exciting! One of the rare quick moments in the class room.  They were quietly reading and the other two were studying.  Keagan's learning cursive.  And doing a wonderful job of it too!  This is more reality than you'd think!   Wild Child.  He's learn...

More Kauffman Reunion Pics

Christian and Jeanie.  Same age but still not friends.  Maybe Someday..... Second cousins....preparing for a big water fight.  I think it lasted an entire hour.  Z tells me the girls started it but they finally gave up!  Down at the Amphitheater taking a few clan pictures.   More second cousin pictures....They all played so well and hard together.

Kauffman Reunion Pictures

On Sunday Morning at Breakfast these good  ladies shared their wisdom with me.   One place you might find my boy.  In this picture I only see his croc and his little girl cousins.  Anita and April catching up.  Before the grand event happened.  Getting ready with flowers and decor. Sunday Morning service.  It dumped rain that morning and we actually had a nice campfire in the pavilion ring.  It felt like God was pouring blessings on us.  The service was good and refreshing for me.  Wayne got everyone thinking of memories from the past and Phil told us to remember what a treasure we have in our heritage.   More getting ready stuff. Dad was being so kind as to put up line to hang cups on.  I was laughed out of town for such a plan but hey, it made the kids feel special knowing they were thought of before they arrived and someone knew their name.   Cousin c...

Trip travel days

Warning:  This post is a long long long picture post of moments from our 12 day vacation.  They are all mixed up in order and are our random moments through out.  I'm publishing them for my own benefit so carry on......  Some of our good good food at our campsite each night. We got to be at the ground breaking of dear friend's new place  in Idaho The big big lake in Nebraska that we think is our lake.  We've made so very many good memories there.  Lake McConaughy. We stopped here for overnight on our way home.  Our last 200 miles.  The last oreo's and coffee going down.  Mathias' smile tells how good of a trip we indeed had!  Zerrick and Jasper comparing big thoughts and what not.  At the ground breaking.   My mom's back deck area.  Probably the greenest spot in her yard.  It is so very dry out there!  A happy wonderful shelf for my sister at her lit...
