~Zerrick's First Day of School~

My six year old boy already! Here he is industriously doing his first lesson in Bible. He was so very anxious to get to his real work! So far we've had two days of work and he's doing wonderfully! It makes me VERY happy! And this is my two boys on Sunday evening.... To see pictures of our cider making fun go here..... http://picasaweb.google.com/ymaevangel/AppleCiderMaking #

Lazy Sunday

Here is a pic of de flower bed dat ryn an lance made. The wind was lazy to day too. And a kite is hard to keep up by running in circles. So we found a energetic ATV and made are our own wind. Today Keagan figured out which button shifts to a higher gear while his dad is driving.

Kimmel Orchards/ Picking Apples

We went to get peaches and apples today .....Keagan tried to bite every apple he could, the apples we had to pick ......14 bushels!

Sams Club shopping.....

Keagan so tired after a 6 A.M. start he had to take a break at sams club. We all went down to Market early this morning and then about 9am Matt took Keagan and went to Sams to get my Market groceries....On the way Keagan fell asleep, so when Matt got to Sams he pulled him out of his carseat and he stayed sleeping...he pushed the cart all the way to the back of the store w/ K on his shoulder(still sleeping) grabbed a bag of flour and laid him down....he stayed sleeping through out the whole Sams Club thing, until he was ready to buckle him back in! I think he was tired...what do you think? :)

Helping Dad...

Zerrick worked on pounding a whole nail in himself....he did it too! Keagan loved handing Dad the nails... We spent an evening working on a chicken coop. It was a beautiful evening and the boys loved just being outside w/ dad. While they were pounding nails for the floor part I asked Zerrick if maybe I should pound a nail (it was kind of hard to watch how slow it would go for him...I thought maybe I could do it faster!) Anyhow, he very airily informed me that us guys could get it...this is mans work mom! So I was virtuous and brushed onions to take to Market. :(

A prayer...

Oh God: Keep us loving. Keep us clean. Keep us gentle. Keep us pure. Keep us brave. Keep us honest. When we are discouraged, inspire us to carry on. When we are fearful, increase our trust. When we are lonely, give us a consciousness of they Presence. When we are embittered, empower us with thy love. When we are wronged, help us to forgive. When we are lazy, drive us to our work. When we are successful, keep us humble. When we are defeated, inspire us to take courage and go forward.
