The Art of Baking Bread

The other day I decided it was time to make some bread in this house again. In the summer I don't make bread very much because often I can get leftover bread from Market. So fresh from the oven bread is kind of a rare treat here. So here it is rising and stuff.... And here is the expert.... I love those little chubby hands... First you spank it good and hard! Well at least as hard as a 20 month old can spank! Then you poke it and tell the world about how you go about forming bread dough into bun shapes in baby gibberish of course! And then you carefully put it on the pan! sort of wherever it lands I guess! And somehow we got this result! Isn't it amazing?! But the best part for me is to watch his little mind develop and how he is so hopeful and confident in what he can do! Is there anything better than to be a stay at home mom and be involved what your kids are learning? It really is a pleasure!

Boys' Pictures 2009

Today Jenny came over and helped me get some pictures taken of the boys I was pretty happy w/ what she did....now to get them developed and framed.

~Zerrick's First Day of School~

My six year old boy already! Here he is industriously doing his first lesson in Bible. He was so very anxious to get to his real work! So far we've had two days of work and he's doing wonderfully! It makes me VERY happy! And this is my two boys on Sunday evening.... To see pictures of our cider making fun go here..... http://picasaweb.google.com/ymaevangel/AppleCiderMaking #

Lazy Sunday

Sams Club shopping.....

Keagan so tired after a 6 A.M. start he had to take a break at sams club. We all went down to Market early this morning and then about 9am Matt took Keagan and went to Sams to get my Market groceries....On the way Keagan fell asleep, so when Matt got to Sams he pulled him out of his carseat and he stayed sleeping...he pushed the cart all the way to the back of the store w/ K on his shoulder(still sleeping) grabbed a bag of flour and laid him down....he stayed sleeping through out the whole Sams Club thing, until he was ready to buckle him back in! I think he was tired...what do you think? :)
