Happy Birthday Zerrick!!!!

My oldest boy turned seven today! He's beyond excited. He has some friends coming over to play for a couple hours and then tonight we get to hang out with the Burkey Clan and other cousins. He's ordered a baseball scene for his cake. His birthday gift is hidden away till Dad comes home from work. Life is just full of possibilities for him today. He just doesn't realize. I thank God for my seven year old .

Baking today

This day feels overwhelming.....so much to do and so little time till I'm wore out and the kids can't stand another minute and my house falls down around my ears. So I'm whining on here....hoping someone takes time to lift me up in prayer!!! Or else come do my dishes and give me uplifting things to think on! So here goes....Hot rolls to eat in four hours. Bring your own coffee.

Scrap booking Today...

I am determined this summer isn't going to fly by without doing some fun things. So yesterday we went out and spent over an hour under the sun and sprinkler. The kids were quite tired last night at bedtime. They played HARD. So today....the fun thing is going to be scrapbooking. Any and all of my friends and relations are invited over to this little piglets house to join in the fun. It's another rainy day and the grass and garden are WAY out of control but with the ground so spongy with all the recent rains we can't face the music anyhow. So scrap books and pictures and memories here I come! See you all here!

So my two year old....

Decided today that he's not going to wear a diaper. He wants big boy panties on....so after his first big mistake he stood and pondered the puddle and wet legs and wet floor. And then he says, " those panties have holes in them." I wish you could hear his accent! It was rather funny! Except I didn't laugh because I was busy trying to explain to him the seriousness of the situation. He's dry for now....wonder how many of his panties have holes in them.....

A Few things that give me a spot of happiness....

This one is cozy.... and you can't tell but the little bundle there is Gwen... I found this mirror at a garage sale for a little of nothing... The rest of the arrangement was et-cetra( a little MCC thrift in town) ..and some of it gifts from people... This is my corner of precious things from Grandpa B's auction.... the desk is really not in that good of shape but I like it painted. And the quilt is from the auction and it gives me a comfort.... And this one!!! I got this today at et-cetra too! Mom bought it for me for fun....on her visit here.... I absolutely think it is most charming....Thanks Mom! It is pretty nice don't you think? :)

A short vist and just life....

Zerrick took this sweet picture of Jenny. Maybe next time she'll smile even nicer!!! Keagan loved the games mom played with him.... I was taking some pictures and I was in my bedroom and I found this perfect bundle on my bed!!! Grandmother and Great Grandmother... Great Grandpa Sid.... Mom wasn't at my house ten minutes before she was getting her hands dirty in my flower beds.. The two little boys I'm so blessed with... Zerrick is actually learning to use this monster!!! By next summer we'll have a perfectly groomed yard!!!

Picnic and More Pioneer Village....

All these boys were smothering Gwen....and she loved it..... A picture for Arla.... The three little chubs...except that middle one....shelooks kind of fragile....but don't let looks fool you! The moms and grandma....Those babies have no idea how much they're loved!!! Rebecca Sue...I love you too!!! She's the one who keeps us all in line. I cackle over her antics probably more than any of the other grandkids right now! This picture makes me think of the stories of the orphan trains from long ago! It's Quinlyn looking out an old train window.... And another train window... I thought maybe Arla would enjoy this one....
