Life in Nebraska ....

I get so tired of screen time.  But I get so thrilled to see all four of my kids centered around something.  They are still friends. Even with the age difference.  This makes me happy!  Keagan somehow knows that there are magnets in microwaves.  So we had a microwave to throw away.  He delved into it's inner being and finally got the piece off that had these beautiful magnets in it.  But then he was stuck.  So his dad helped him cut them out.  Oh what joy magnets hold if you're a Keagan!  A beautiful morning last week.  That man of mine had the coffee all ready for me on the deck. Now all you lovely readers I have a question for you.  In moments like these in your marriage.  Do you as a couple enjoy the magic of the moment...beautiful moment and beautiful morning.....or do you discuss the heavy day to day things? Last summer we camped in July as well but it was at Long Pine.  This year we went to Ogallala NE.  We camped down below Big Mac at the little lake but went up to Big Mac for sand and water play.  The fishing was terrible which was very disappointing to the guys... Lake Ogallala  Two favorite things when we camp:  Our hammocks and our Kayaks This is the one who does all the hard work so we can take a week off and soak up the sand and sun and water.  Ah!  Take me back...... They kayaked away and fished for a whole morning.  Jeanie and I loved the quiet and hammocks and a little drive up to the general store and one of the little bays on the south side.  The sun and rocks and water and Jeanie and I taking feet pictures.  She held still for this long.  Us.  We found a little bay to kayak and fish in and crevices to climb up into.
