I wish....

~My boys didn't have colds and runny noses and general grumps.
~ My husband wasn't getting the same thing.
~My house was in tip top shape.
~Supper was made and done for the day.
~ Mathias could talk and SAY what is bugging him.
~Blogger wouldn't be so weird lately and that all my friends could comment on my posts.
~That I was outside sitting in that wonderful crisper air that came around the last two days.
~That I could sleep a whole night through...even 4 hrs straight would be GREAT.

Now I need to say what I'm thankful for too.  

~I got a dress sewn today!
~ The sun shone and the air was breathable.
~My Laundry got done.
~My boys are all developing normally and precious and naughty.
~ I live in a free country and I can say Praise the Lord out loud!

I'm back to tell you....I got to sleep at least 4 hrs straight!!!  After being awake with the two youngest for about two hours.  But I've had my coffee this morning and my Bible reading and organized my sewing cupboard and this is all good.  Thank God for SLEEP!

I'm here, listening! Just now saw your last post too. I could make a list like yours too. It's good to remind myself to make a thankful list when I'm feeling like complaining...but sometimes it feels good to whine just a little to someone who cares, isn't that horrid?! ;-) School has begun here now, so we are back on the fast track....except we never got off in the first place! Whew, no wonder kids grow up so fast with the fast pace of life we live! I hope your school goes better than you expect. I'll remember to pray for that for you. I wonder if there is a limit to how long of a comment one can leave....

Isn't it funny how our thankful lists are so elastic...sometimes too short and other times nicely stretched across our hearts depending on what we're feeling like.

Keagan turned three while we were in Idaho. So we made a cake and celebrated with the Skrivseth cousins this year. He was enthralled watching me make the cake. Let me tell you how God answers prayer

      Did I ever write on here that I am teaching school at our little church school?  I absolutely love it and find that it's been a neat way to feel useful and invest in our bubble.  But I am requiring my kids to tell stories and write them and read them.  And right now they are in a four week story writing assignment and I began to wonder what I thought I was doing requiring something of them that I am not really proficient at nor am I very knowledgable about.       So for my story to write  let me tell you a little bit about how God answers prayer.  Sometime I feel like I should write Jeanie's whole story.  But not this time.             Jeanie's been having focal seizures.  We don't know when they started.  All we know is that we were advised to go get her growing pain/ leg cramps looked into and it started the beginning of many tests of which we still aren't done with....
