HuGe Photo Dump!

We had a cook out and afterwards hung out on the deck till a bit later than I thought it was......
We were honored with more overnight guests this week!  We had so much fun with them and not just fun but Good good fun!  The kids got along so well (at least my kids said so) and they were kind to us about our laid back style of entertainment.  I hope they use us for a motel again sometime!  And by the way these pictures are a complete scramble of all kinds of stuff in our life right now.

Keagan Michael being Keagan at the orangutan cage...

Too much glare but you can see some of the kids at least.

They stopped in on Monday afternoon for over night and the next morning we were irresponsible and decided to do the zoo with them. They were sure they needed to go home and we were sure we needed to work.....but somehow we didn't and we did zoo instead.  So glad we did!

This is not related to the zoo or Danny's visit.....  Zerrick has been taking my camera out and trying to learn a bit about taking pics.  This is one of them. I cropped it a bit.

Another Zerrick pic. He said it was singing a very pretty tune.  It must be a wren.

Another Zerrick pic.....

Zerrick pic.  One of the four big headed roosters about this place!

Zerrick pic.  Snickers our new black lab puppy.

And another .

I cropped this one a bit....by zerrick

Zerrick's pic

another one.

one of her first time graham cracker moments......I got that shirt beautifully clean again. Can you believe it?

Those six boys.  They had SO MUCH FUN.  I just loved watching them.

Tate ....the charmer!

Jasper and Snickers.

11 yr. old eyes there.

Gabes came for our cook out...  Sweet Gwen.... four years old going on 16.

He's mine!

Jamie loved on my Jeanie so much.  Balm to my soul.

Typical moment here.  Matt and his phone have become inseparable this summer but Mathias knows where he belongs in Matts world anyhow.

Chase..... the one who chases.....That's a Mathias joke.  ......

There's Mr. Myles....taking it all in silently with his own purposes in mind.

These two ....Wonderful age to be.

Danny was laughing at me (in a making fun way)  ...but it made a good picture! :)

Best Friends.

Happy Birthday Keagan

Keagan turned three while we were in Idaho. So we made a cake and celebrated with the Skrivseth cousins this year. He was enthralled watching me make the cake. Had to have his little hand on that hat! gazing in adoration at it. Just about ready to blow those candles. He kept telling me that we couldn't sing Happy Birthday though. He's easily embarrassed! Silly guy! I rather like my little three year.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness  Forgiveness has bones It has a brain It uses logic  And common sense  Forgiveness goes about Finding a common ground. It shows up in common places. It happens unsuspected. Forgiveness allows one to Name the thing that happened. Forgiveness gives one a way To see it for what it was. Forgiveness provides for the  Empty spaces in conversation  And allows one to listen  And grieve outside of one’s own experience. Forgiveness walks into a situation  And remembers. But walks with peace And knows calmness. Forgiveness has an earpiece  On the heart  And a microphone  At his mouth Saying the words that Forgiveness has given him. Forgiveness doesn’t walk with fear. Forgiveness looks alone. But He’s always always  Hand in hand with gentleness and kindness. Forgiveness can stand alone though. It doesn’t melt away or dissipate  With time. Forgiveness is that little happy wren  On your shoulder  Forgiveness sings...

Let me tell you how God answers prayer

Did I ever write on here that I am teaching school at our little church school?  I absolutely love it and find that it's been a neat way to feel useful and invest in our bubble.  But I am requiring my kids to tell stories and write them and read them.  And right now they are in a four week story writing assignment and I began to wonder what I thought I was doing requiring something of them that I am not really proficient at nor am I very knowledgable about.       So for my story to write  let me tell you a little bit about how God answers prayer.  Sometime I feel like I should write Jeanie's whole story.  But not this time.             Jeanie's been having focal seizures.  We don't know when they started.  All we know is that we were advised to go get her growing pain/ leg cramps looked into and it started the beginning of many tests of which we still aren't done with....
