Vacation

We've been clumping along west in our pickup and fifth wheel camper.  Its taken us quite some time to get anywhere.  Tonight we're at a sweet little quiet campground with a clear wide river winding by it. After supper we walked down and splashed in it.  It was picture perfect with mountains and sunset and happy kids.  Our supper was some amazing fajitas and rice.  And hot fudge brownies and French pressed coffee for dessert.  We are living the life. Except it doesn't feel like it as most of us have colds and two of us actually went to a little country health clinic this morning and were prescribed antibiotics. We're hoping the next few days get easier for them.   
    We've been enjoying the audio of The Railway Children  as we travel.  We are all enjoying the humor and rich wording.  Today the children stopped by to have tea with Mr. Perks at the station and Mr Perks always made tea in an old beer can.  " And everything felt quite confidential and happy".   I really enjoyed that morsel.  We don't enjoy nearly enough confidential and happy tea times.   
      Off to sleep another night in our camper castle......here's hoping the sickies sleep so I can! 
       


I wrote this on our way to Idaho.    Just a beginning of  what I wish I could get blogged .  life is keeping me busy lately!

Keagan turned three while we were in Idaho. So we made a cake and celebrated with the Skrivseth cousins this year. He was enthralled watching me make the cake. Forgiveness looks alone. But He’s always always  Hand in hand with gentleness and kindness. Forgiveness can stand alone though. It doesn’t melt away or dissipate  With time. Let me tell you how God answers prayer

      Did I ever write on here that I am teaching school at our little church school?  I absolutely love it and find that it's been a neat way to feel useful and invest in our bubble.  But I am requiring my kids to tell stories and write them and read them.  And right now they are in a four week story writing assignment and I began to wonder what I thought I was doing requiring something of them that I am not really proficient at nor am I very knowledgable about.       So for my story to write  let me tell you a little bit about how God answers prayer.  Sometime I feel like I should write Jeanie's whole story.  But not this time.             Jeanie's been having focal seizures.  We don't know when they started.  All we know is that we were advised to go get her growing pain/ leg cramps looked into and it started the beginning of many tests of which we still aren't done with....
