Enjoying this moment...

Right now I'm enjoying a half a cup of coffee and hazelnut creamer...half of each! And some chocolaty peanut buttery bars! And I just took a hand full of vitamins and Tylenol. Surely all of that should take away this headache wouldn't one think so?! :)
Another thing I'm enjoying is feeling this little one inside of me wiggling. I just found out yesterday that a dear lady from around here who was due very close to when I am, lost her little baby. So I'm trying to enjoy this moment and trying not to worry for my baby....at the same time I feel terribly upset and sad and weepy for Angie. Please pray for Angie.
Other moments to enjoy....I've been amazed how the green has finally come out in all it's colors. So many summers get so filled up so fast and before I take time to look we're back to harvest browns again! Today I looked out to the field below our house and I can see the tiny little corn plants all making nice perfect rows all the way down to the woods. I always have liked how perfect fresh new fields in the spring look.
I'm enjoying being done with school work for the year! It's so nice to know I can wake up and go about the everyday tasks and play!
And....it's Mother's Day tomorrow. I feel like a spoiled rotten wife and mom. My husband has been going all out helping me out! My list could go on but here's one thing. This spring when I would not even be anxious yet about my garden, he went out and planted. And I am already eating the fruits of his labors! Fresh garden salad w/ early onions....oh so so good! Another big thing...he went to all kinds of bother to get me two more ovens for my bakery...got them wired and up and going for me before the first day of market. And they are a major big help! And...probably the biggest and most amazing thing he's been doing for me is just being my stabilizer and encourager and allowing me my silly dogmatism! I find I'm quite opinionated and dogmatic lately and haven't been praying that God would bless my words and still my tongue enough. Matt's been kind to me through it all....he must have had some good training or else God's been giving him lots of patience or else he's just thrown up his hands in despair!!!! :) Whatever the case my be...I feel blessed on this Mother's Day weekend! And I'm enjoying this moment too....
And one more prayer request.....Mom is wanting Evie to be allowed to call her on Mother's Day! This is a BIG request! But really God can do it if anyone can right? So lets pray for that for mom shall we? Happy Mothers day to you Mom...I hope the signal on your phone is good All day....

I thought of that for mom too. And I'm so glad for you for all of your blessings. I really can identify with you. My man loves me in spite of all my noises and mistakes. I couldn't be happier.

I have decided that as moms, we worry about our kids from the moment we find out they have entered our life, until...well, I don't know when. I guess until we die!

Happy Birthday Keagan

Keagan turned three while we were in Idaho. So we made a cake and celebrated with the Skrivseth cousins this year. He was enthralled watching me make the cake. Had to have his little hand on that hat! gazing in adoration at it. Just about ready to blow those candles. He kept telling me that we couldn't sing Happy Birthday though. He's easily embarrassed! Silly guy! I rather like my little three year.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness  Forgiveness has bones It has a brain It uses logic  And common sense  Forgiveness goes about Finding a common ground. It shows up in common places. It happens unsuspected. Forgiveness allows one to Name the thing that happened. Forgiveness gives one a way To see it for what it was. Forgiveness provides for the  Empty spaces in conversation  And allows one to listen  And grieve outside of one’s own experience. Forgiveness walks into a situation  And remembers. But walks with peace And knows calmness. Forgiveness has an earpiece  On the heart  And a microphone  At his mouth Saying the words that Forgiveness has given him. Forgiveness doesn’t walk with fear. Forgiveness looks alone. But He’s always always  Hand in hand with gentleness and kindness. Forgiveness can stand alone though. It doesn’t melt away or dissipate  With time. Forgiveness is that little happy wren  On your shoulder  Forgiveness sings...

Let me tell you how God answers prayer

Did I ever write on here that I am teaching school at our little church school?  I absolutely love it and find that it's been a neat way to feel useful and invest in our bubble.  But I am requiring my kids to tell stories and write them and read them.  And right now they are in a four week story writing assignment and I began to wonder what I thought I was doing requiring something of them that I am not really proficient at nor am I very knowledgable about.       So for my story to write  let me tell you a little bit about how God answers prayer.  Sometime I feel like I should write Jeanie's whole story.  But not this time.             Jeanie's been having focal seizures.  We don't know when they started.  All we know is that we were advised to go get her growing pain/ leg cramps looked into and it started the beginning of many tests of which we still aren't done with....
