Idaho trip pictures

The worse place to be if you don't like heights.  Look Out Pass.  And yes the kids were looking down and talking about what was down there and MATT looked down and I got all weak in my knees and cried two tears.  I never use to be this way.

On our way home we  got a super nice little apartment for 40$ because of our reward points we'd accumulated.
We spent one afternoon swimming with the cousins in deep creek.  She was loving on this frog.
After the deep creek swim we had Low Country Boil at the wildlife refuge with the family.  One last gathering....
An amazing delicious breakfast at Norvan's place.  We stayed at their place for three nights.  It was the perfect bed and breakfast.  I could have stayed there for a very long time.
Low country boil.  It was so good.
Evening campfire and supper at Jays
Dad and Moms' place.  I wondered through mom's gardens and yard for therapy one day....
Jeanie and I went with mom and dad to Sand point one day.  Dad got a new lease on life with his latest eye surgeries.  He drives much much safer now.
Mom's black berries were LOADED
A picture right before we left.
Our spot at Norvan's when we stayed there.  So perfect.
Dad's hobby.
A little tea party at grandma's

Breakfast at Norvan's
Breakfast at Mom's.  Around this bar is the place to be.  The entire time we were there she was in this kitchen producing so much food!  And it was delicious!
Wild life refuge.  And Carissa refused to have that baby till we got home.  :)
So much good peaches there this time.
What was left of my food till I remembered to take a picture.  April and Jay made us this good food.
Dad's grapes are doing well.....
Two good looking 13 year old boys.   Johnny's fun and talks with a cute lisp, and Zerrick's gawky and has a brain full of useless facts.
He's got such deep eyes and he knows his mind.  He's basic.  That's a compliment.
Treasured moment.
Mom's biscuits.  Picture perfect.  How'd she do that anyway?!
This long road is AWFUL!
Older women teaching the younger. Hee hee!  Did you ever think you'd be there Danielle?
Watching the swimmers
So much mud and sand and smiles.
Coffee at the park and I got to meet Nakita.  It was too cold and crazy but hey I got to see Kristy a little!
At Jays.
I got to hug that baby to sleep three times!  He's pretty easy and basic too.
Mud slide into deep creek
Evening at Brush Lake dock.  And the kids Kayaked  and Matt has those pictures.

Short evenings around this spot.
My parents and Dayton.
Mathias and two of his new best friends.

Nap time at Grandma's.

At our motel.  She loved those remotes....called them phones.
Trying to bare up after traveling too long.

Forest fire.  We got to watch the helicopters dumping water.  It was fun for the kids to watch.
almost home!!!!

After much tears she succumbed to prayer!  She actually was sleeping!

In My Worship Place

Last time I posted I mentioned being in a quiet spot.      It's curious to me how one can be in a quiet spot internally but super busy externally and then be in a quiet season externally but Internally be in a season of seeking and crying and lonely.      Zerrick and Susanna's reception in our yard is over and my many siblings showing up for us was a cherry on top.   It felt like a relaxed good reception and I spent most of it watching people and listening in on little groups of chatter.      And then the twelve hours with my siblings on Saturday.  God worked it out so I could have tiny little snitches of chat that I could be assured that I got the most of the gift of them even being here.        We all stood around and prayed and cried and sobbed together for a short time before Bruce's left.  Healing.  I still feel emotional about it.  And now it's qu...

A few things...

Okay, I have a whole pile of pictures I'm going to post one of these days. In the mean time....a few more questions to add to my last post.... 1. What do people mean when they say things like, " He/she spoke peace/ blessing/ love/truth or whatever into my heart? How does one get truth spoke into ones heart by another person? Okay, now I expect to hear someone defend themselves for saying this or else clarify to me why it sounds so off the wall......no reading this w/out some input! 2. What else? I was asking about what does it mean to have deeper relationship w/ God. So everyone said ya that's a good thing to desire. Here's my thought. You either have a relationship w/ God or you don't. So then who decides if it's a deeper relationship than....see how can you know? Can you compare? That won't work because God doesn't work like that....putting us on brackets of who is most spiritual. The only way you can use the term in having a deeper relationship w/ Go...

Happy Birthday Keagan

Keagan turned three while we were in Idaho. So we made a cake and celebrated with the Skrivseth cousins this year. He was enthralled watching me make the cake. Had to have his little hand on that hat! gazing in adoration at it. Just about ready to blow those candles. He kept telling me that we couldn't sing Happy Birthday though. He's easily embarrassed! Silly guy! I rather like my little three year.
